Volleyball Season Ready to Begin

The Lady Raider volleyball season begins with the Gatorade scrimmage Friday August 27 and the first game Thursday September 2 against Doniphan West and Troy. All of the girls are excited and ready to play. Head Coach Betty Peterson and Assistant Coach Travis Hecht are enthused to see what the season will bring them with these 25 girls.
The team consists of seniors: # 11 Melanie Nolte, #12 Jamie Swart, #16 Melissa Sperfslage, #18 Erica Rottinghaus, #22 Samantha Carlson, and #26 Kristina Feldkamp.
Juniors: #13 Gabby Deters, #17 Julie Kohake, #19 Chelsey McGhee, #21 Kelsey Bradley, #23 McKayla Brezina, #24 Holly Kuckelman, and #25 Megan Throm.
Sophomores: # 10 Jessi Bramhall, #14 Ashley Rottinghaus, #15 Jill Swart, #20 Lindsay Peterson, #27 Madison Rottinghaus, #28 Quinn Deters, #29 Sarah Haverkamp, #31 Kasey Haverkamp, #33 Andrea Stallbaumer, #36 Meghan Showman, #37 Mallory Heinen, and #38 Kaylee Bontrager.
Managers for this season are: Amanda Boeding, Brie Krogman, and Karla Henry
The freshmen volleyball season starts off with their first game scheduled on September 9 at Royal Valley. Coach Connie Ronnebaum and her ten players are working hard to get ready for their first game. This year's freshmen are: #2 Jacey Rottinghaus, #3 Hannah Dodd, #9 Leighanna Stewart, #10 Felicity Plyler, #11 Heather Musgrove, #12 Melissa Nordhus, #15 Abby Enneking, #17 Lisa Olberding, #20 Michaela Stallbaumer, and #21 Lilly Clark.
