KAY Unit Conference Held At NV

This Tuesday, February 16, 2010, the Nemaha Valley KAY’s hosted a unit conference with ten schools registered. There were refreshments when schools arrived at eight this morning. At 8:35-8:50 there was an ice breaker activity, and then at 9:00 a.m., entertainment was performed by the NV Drum Line, NV Drill Team, and the NV Images. At 9:40, all the students broke into groups and played a game. By 10:00 a.m. sessions began, Dana Feldkamp gave a speech about her battle with anorexia, Sherri Erichsen talked about Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Mike Huber gave a speech about his battle with drugs and alcohol. The conference was a success and we were glad to welcome other schools to our school.
