Forensics Tournament to be Held on February 6, 2010

On February 6th, 2010, Nemaha Valley High School will be hosting its annual forensics tournament. The teams will start to compete at 8:00 a.m. and the awards assembly will be at approximately 3:00 p.m.
The meet takes at least 30 community volunteers to judge; which we are very thankful for. Also, the Nemaha Valley team will be helping; if competing at your own tournament you cannot qualify for state. Valentino’s is catering a meal for the judges, coaches and bus drivers. Schools competing are Bern, B & B, Sabetha, Silver Lake, Valley Heights, Centralia, Marysville, Axtell, Atchison, Wamego, ACCHS, Royal Valley, Jackson Heights, Hiawatha, and Frankfort.
The events that the students compete in are: duet acting, dramatic solo, humorous solo, IDA, poetry, prose, extemporaneous speaking, informative and oration.
