School Calendar - February 3rd to February 16th

February 3:  We will take activity pictures for the yearbook today.  Information will be sent home.  Additionally, the KinderPrep classes will take their group spring pictures today.

February 4:  NVMS Raiders will have a make-up game with Axtell.  The C-Team Boys’ game will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will be held at NVHS.  The B-Team and A-Team Boys’ games will follow.  The A-Team Girls’ game will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held at NVHS.  The B-Team Girls’ game will follow.

February 5: The 1st and 2nd grade students will go to local care homes and read with the residents.

February 5:  The City Parks Committee will be at NVEMS making handprint tiles that will be displayed at the city park.  The cost is $25.00 and all proceeds go towards the new park playground equipment.  Flyers will be send home with additional information.  The money must be paid before handprints can be made.  Volunteers are needed; please contact the school if you are willing to help.

February 6, 11, and 13:  The NVMS Raiders will play in the OTL Tournament at Frankfort.

February 8:  The NV PTO Meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Nemaha Valley Elementary and Middle School Library.

February 9:  The NVEMS Site Council will meet at 2:15 at Nemaha Valley Elementary and Middle School.

February 12:  Students in grades K-5 will participate in the Valentine’s Day Parties.

February 15:  Parent Teacher Conferences will be held until 12:45.  Information about conferences will be sent home.  There is no school for students on this day.

February 16:  We will take Spring Pictures for students in K-8 and Preschool.  More information about Spring Pictures will be sent home.

February 16:  The NVMS Raiders will participate in a Scholars’ Bowl Meet at Baileyville at 4:00 p.m.
