The yearly Gatorade Scrimmage was held on Friday August 28. It started out with the volleyball players at 5:00 p.m. The Freshmen, JV, and Varsity made five teams and scrimmaged until 5:45. Then twelve alumni came in and played the JV and Varsity. After they were done the volleyball players enjoyed fresh watermelon provided by 1st National Bank.
At 7:00 p.m. the football players took the field. It was the Purple team against the White team. They played hard for two long hours, making plays, getting touchdowns, and breaking a sweat. The football players were also treated to watermelon This was a great beginning to the football and volleyball seasons. There are many hopes that it’s going to be a great year.
