Welcome Mr. Matt Carter

Mr. Carter, the new music teacher, will be teaching 5th-12th grade band and high school choir. He completed his undergraduate studies at Pittsburg State and attended grad school at the University of Texas in Austin, TX.
This is his first year teaching, but he has been experienced with band and vocal music for 15 years now. The best part about working here at the school is that he enjoys working with all ages of students, along with parents and staff.
His favorite subject in high school was Music. He enjoys watching the Kansas City Royals. His favorite restaurant is Taco Palenque. One piece of advice that he would like to give the students in our district is to set high goals for themselves.
