Superintendent Hired at Nemaha Valley

NEWS RELEASE TO NEMAHA VALLEY STAFF
January 19, 2010

At a special meeting today at 12:15 p.m. the Board of Education approved a contract with Mr. Darrel Kohlman as the Superintendent of Schools effective July 1, 2010.

Mr. Kohlman will be moving to Seneca from Mullinville, Kansas which is a few miles from Greensburg. He has been serving as superintendent of U.S.D. #424 Mullinville Schools since July, 2008.  Prior to serving as a superintendent, Mr. Kohlman served as a principal at Bucklin Schools for seven years.  Mr. Kohlman began his career in education as a science teacher first in Tescott then in Hillsboro.
