NVEMS Building Dedication Held

December 04, 2009

Nemaha Valley Elementary and Middle School held a building dedication ceremony on November 17, 2009 at 6:45 p.m. Those who attended were treated to music provided by the NVHS Jazz Band and soloist from the high school Images. 

The events of the dedication were a flag ceremony that was conducted by the Seneca Cub Scout Pack 71. Brian Harris said the opening remarks and provided recognition of special guests. A welcome to our school was given by Amy Beck. Margie Heinen spoke on behalf of the School Board members. City of Seneca mayor, Joe Mitchell, gave a few comments. Architectural remarks were provided by Zach Snethen of Horst, Terrill and Karst Architects P.A.  Construction manager, Jerry Stallbaumer, of AHRS spoke of the unique construction facts.  Following the formal ceremony there was an open house.
