Spring Music Concert Held

The NV Choir, Images, Jazz Band and Concert Band performed in the high school gym on Monday, May 4th. The Choir performed two pieces to start the concert, "Cantate Domino" and "Travelin' on". 

The images then performed "Maroon 5 in Concert." This year the choir performed less because there were a lot of soloists/duets. The first duet was Krystal Rottinghaus and Stephen Huerter performing "Angel's Among Us".  Followed by Taylor Steinlage and Devan Rethman singing "I Hope You Dance." Three soloists performed including Kelsey Bradley to "My Heart Will Go On", Lindsey Lierz to "White Horse", and Sam Haynie to "Mr. Jones". 

At that time Mr. Dirk Cologrove stopped the concert to recognize the seniors involved in the music program.  They were Eric Zinke, Patrick Stathman, Shayla Winkler, Chelsie Moller, Krystal Rottinghaus, Stephen Huerter, and Tanner Ersham. Mr. Cologrove also awarded Krystal Rottinghaus with the Choir Award, Kylie Rethman with the Jazz Band Award, and Patrick Strathman with the John Phillip Sousa Honor Award. 

The concert continued with Jazz Band performing "Brother Ray", "And All That Jazz", and "Abracadabra". The concert band concluded the evening with  "John Williams in Concert", "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing", and "By Loch and Mountain".
